Why I'm Running
Over the past four years, we’ve achieved so much together, guided by your ideas and input. From supporting local businesses to enhancing safety and preserving our community traditions, these successes reflect our shared commitment to Libertyville. Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep working with you to build on this progress and create even more opportunities for our community.
I'd love your support on April 1st for Mayor of Libertyville
REAL RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
I’m incredibly grateful for the conversations we’ve had — both in person and online. Your ideas have guided me, and together, we’ve achieved some great things over the past four years:
-
Supported Local Businesses: Helped entrepreneurs through our Business Resiliency & Facade Grant programs.
-
Increased Tax Fairness: Ensured Airbnbs pay their fair share of local hotel/motel taxes.
-
Prioritized Community Safety: Kept dispensaries out of town and away from schools to prioritize our children's safety.
-
Introduced Competition: Worked to ensure that professional services for Village projects are competitively bid, making the best use of your tax dollars.
-
Preserved Traditions: Protected our cherished MainStreet Libertyville Farmers Market and kept it in Cook Park, despite the Mayor's efforts to move it.
-
Championed Responsible Gun Ownership: Advocated for secure firearm storage to enhance safety.
LOOKING AHEAD: LIBERTYVILLE TOGETHER
We’ve come a long way, but there’s even more we can achieve. The spirit of “Libertyville Together” is about listening and turning our shared hopes into action. Here’s what I’ll work on:
-
More Volunteer Opportunities: Expand ways for you to serve on Village commissions.
-
Amplifying Resident Input: Strengthen your voice in development decisions affecting our community.
-
Increasing Openness: Stream all Village meetings and provide more updates online.
-
Better Procurement: Making smart, responsible investments and ensuring fair bidding, so every tax dollar helps our community grow.
-
Supporting Growth: Provide local businesses with expanded grants and incentives.

These priorities reflect what you’ve shared with me, and I’m passionate about leading with fresh ideas while honoring what makes Libertyville special.
On April 1, 2025, I’m asking for your vote as Libertyville’s next Mayor. Let’s keep making Libertyville a place we all love — Together.
Thank you for your trust.
Together, we can do better and achieve even more.
